Today we heard about a family who are really struggling to make ends meet.

Dad has major health challenges and is in rapid decline, he and his wife have 10 children aged 18 months upwards. Three of their children have special needs with major health challenges.

The family asked if the Link Foundation could help with  ‘food, sanitary items, clothes, any support you might be able to give especially due to the summer holidays’

The family’s support worker told us that the family are in dire need. Mum doesn’t drive and Dad is really poorly and is rarely able to make any journeys.  A family day trip in the summer holidays is practically and financially impossible.  They are struggling to provide the basics to feed their children and keep them clean.
