Become a fundraiser and help us to improve young lives

Why become a fundraiser?

Got a fundraising idea?  We are here to help! We love to hear about your challenges and are here to support you along the way.  Previous fundraisers have included marathons, cycling endurance races, channel swims, quiz nights, raffles, PTA school balls, and toddler fun runs. These have enabled us to support thousands of local children.

The Link Foundation team are all volunteers which means that over 95% of fundraising directly benefits children in need. We believe this make us almost unique and is often the reason people choose to support the Link Foundation.

Frequently asked questions

Why should I choose to fundraise for the Link Foundation ?

As the Link Foundation is run entirely by volunteers over 95p of every £1 you raise is spent directly on helping a child in need in our area.

In 2021 we received The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, widely regarded as the MBE for charities and often referred to as the MBE for charities.

It was a tough and in depth selection process but we were delighted that the members of the panel recognised the contribution our team made during the pandemic and the past 17 years .

How can I make a difference?

By becoming a fundraiser you are helping us to support more and more children throughout Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

Your fundraising however big or small can change a life. £14.50 can buy baby formula for a family with empty cupboards, £180 can buy a fridge freezer to allow a family to have fresh milk to give their child a bowl of cereal in the morning, £250 can buy a bed for a child sleeping on a pile of clothes on the floor.

What support will I receive?

We get very excited by our fundraisers challenges!  We love to help you brainstorm and plan and are here to support you to achieve your goal as well as raise lots of life altering funds.

We can loan clothing, flags and leaflets and we love to tell our extended community by posting on our social media channels.

Struggling to think of a challenge?

Fundraisers in the past have included cake sales, toddler walks, cross Atlantic sails, mountain climbs even swimming the English Channel.  Get in touch and let’s brainstorm some ideas!
