We were thrilled to receive a donation to our Cot and Bed Appeal from @nationwidebuildingsociety
Nearly 1 in 10 of all children in UK do not have a bed of their own. Nationwide’s donation will ensure that children and babies currently sleeping on the floor, a sofa or sharing with parents and siblings will have a bed or cot of their own.
“ I love the ethos of this charity, and the fact that almost every penny is spent on their beneficiaries. The organisers and trustees do not draw a salary, they are all volunteers and are continually looking for ways to fundraise so that they can keep supporting local children and families who really need help to provide basic items such as clothing and beds - things that most of us take for granted”
