A cancer diagnosis for a young baby
An urgent phone call asking for emergency food vouchers as the children were hungry and Mum had no milk for the baby.
They had no food or baby formula in the house and very little in the way of cleaning products and toiletries. The brutal reality for this family was that they were unable to feed their three children that day. The cupboards and fridge were bare and they were hungry.
The Link Foundation was able to supply £150 in Sainsburys vouchers within a couple of hours, to enable the family to restock supplies of nappies, food, washing powder and other essentials.
I was desperate. My money had run out and I had no idea how I was going to feed my baby. My health visitor was brilliant and the Link Foundation helped me get back on my feet
