We were cooking on a camping stove and washing clothes in the bath
Sarah and her family were left with nothing when the bailiffs arrived
It was really emotional being there even more so when the baby took his hat off and he had a 15cm scar through his head from having open brain surgery😞
Sarah“Just got back after visiting the family that has the young child with brain and spinal cancer.
We donated a huge basket of toys, children clothes, a heater and food. The house was distressing to see, there was mould everywhere, the children were in hats and coats as it was freezing inside.
The mum is extremely grateful and asked me to pass on her gratitude and thanks. A real eye opener to how far our work goes in changing lives. “
The children’s faces when seeing the toys was honestly priceless and an image I won’t be forgetting any time soon.
